Being and Nothingness

Thursday, September 20th, 2018

Thrilled to finally be starting rehearsals for Being and Nothingness. It’s a piece I absolutely love to work on and is a particularly special ballet to me. I couldn’t be prouder or more excited to be dancing it in a few weeks in Moscow and St. Petersburg, where the company will be touring for the first time in its history! After being there last year, I can’t wait to return and for Russia to experience this amazing program.

August 2018

Wednesday, August 1st, 2018

And so it begins….my 29th season at the NBOC with 3 wonderful performances at the Festival des Arts de Saint Sauveur. What an incredible way to start off the year with a collection of my favourite pieces: Jiri Kylian’s glorious Pas de deux, Nuages; Corsaire Pas de deux; James Kudelka’s Summer Pas de deux and a brand new role for me, Ophelia, in Guillaume Cote’s world premiere of Hamlet Redux!

Kickstarter Campaign from my friends at Anymotion Productions launched!

Sunday, March 1st, 2015

“Dear Friends
We wanted to share with all of you an upcoming project we have developed and that hopefully with your help, will happen very soon.

We are creating a short dance film of the 2013 creation Being and Nothingness (Part 1), set on Greta Hodgkinson and choreographed by Guillaume Côté. The film will be directed by award winning director Alejandro Alvarez.

Being and Nothingness (Part 1), is an ideal piece to be viewed on video, with its delicate movement and subtle nuances. By filming this amazing collaboration of two great artists, we will be able to give access to the work to anyone, anywhere through the universal medium of Itunes and Vimeo. In addition, it is our hope that the film will be viewed in Film Festivals around the world.

To deliver the piece, we have teamed up with Crystal Ballet, a company based in the UK committed to bringing a new perspective to the traditional art form by producing online high quality dance content.

We all know the reality of the arts industry and the difficulty of sharing our work with the masses. We have created a KICKSTARTER campaign in the hopes that this can be a project produced by many and enjoyed by even more.

So please check out our project on KICKSTARTER at:

or follow us on Facebook ( You can show your support by pledging or by spreading the word for us, and be a part of making this video happen!

Thank you in advance for your help

What a Summer!

Friday, August 15th, 2014

After a week off following our Toronto season I headed to LA to dance Juliet at the Music Center. It was so nice to be back in California and the audience was fantastic! Then it was back home and back to work getting ready to perform at the Festival des Arts de St. Sauveur in Quebec. I was so happy to be dancing my favourite roles: Giselle, Juliet and my beautiful solo, Being and Nothingness (Part 1), for 3 performances.
Not much holiday time this year but it turned out to be a busy and wonderful summer nonetheless.

Saturday, February 15th, 2014

A great start

Sunday, September 22nd, 2013

After a busy summer performing in Saratoga, N.Y. and Saint-Sauveur in Quebec, I’m happy to be back getting ready for a new season. This year is starting off amazingly. Guillaume and I have been working together over the past few weeks and he has created a beautiful solo for me. I’m thrilled that I’ll get to perform it for the first time at a Gala on October 3, in Providence, Rhode Island. The whole creative process has been most inspiring and I can’t wait to perform it. And as an added bonus, I get to visit my hometown and also dance a pas de deux with my husband! What a nice way to start the year.

Sunday, December 2nd, 2012

My favorite ballet is back again. It’s been a while since I last danced Giselle, seeing as I was pregnant with my son the time before. It’s truly a dream role for a ballerina and special ballets like this don’t come around often enough. Luckily, on December 5th and 8th at 7:30pm, I’ll get another opportunity to live the dream.

Finally Back!

Wednesday, July 18th, 2012

After some technical difficulties, I’m now back online! It’s been a whirlwind few months of performances and a new creation with Guillaume Cote but I’m finally enjoying a little vacation with my husband and son. I’ll be returning to work soon though and looking forward to my performances in Anaheim,California on August 11th and Columbus,Ohio on August 18th. Can’t wait to do Onegin again as well as Black Swan and Summer pas de deux!
