Message from the Anymotion Productions team

Dear Friends
Our Kickstarter campaign to film Being and Nothingness (part 1) is quickly coming to an end. It has been an amazing and exciting month as we reached our initial goal of $14,900 in 16 days and are now just $5,572 short of our final goal of $22,400. We have had a lot of support and encouraging words and many of you have shared our story with your respective social media circles for which we are very grateful.
There is now only 3 days left to go as our campaign must end on Tuesday March 31st at 5pm. The time to get in on the action and support the project is now! If you haven’t already done so, please follow the link to see the project on Kickstarter and the many rewards that go along with backing us. Kickstarter Campaign from my friends at Anymotion Productions launched!

“Dear Friends
We wanted to share with all of you an upcoming project we have developed and that hopefully with your help, will happen very soon.

We are creating a short dance film of the 2013 creation Being and Nothingness (Part 1), set on Greta Hodgkinson and choreographed by Guillaume Côté. The film will be directed by award winning director Alejandro Alvarez.

Being and Nothingness (Part 1), is an ideal piece to be viewed on video, with its delicate movement and subtle nuances. By filming this amazing collaboration of two great artists, we will be able to give access to the work to anyone, anywhere through the universal medium of Itunes and Vimeo. In addition, it is our hope that the film will be viewed in Film Festivals around the world.

To deliver the piece, we have teamed up with Crystal Ballet, a company based in the UK committed to bringing a new perspective to the traditional art form by producing online high quality dance content.

We all know the reality of the arts industry and the difficulty of sharing our work with the masses. We have created a KICKSTARTER campaign in the hopes that this can be a project produced by many and enjoyed by even more.

So please check out our project on KICKSTARTER at:

or follow us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/AnymotionProductions). You can show your support by pledging or by spreading the word for us, and be a part of making this video happen!

Thank you in advance for your help

New year, new start

I am so excited that 2015 is underway! After a much needed week off, I am preparing to start back with rehearsals for our March program of Chroma and Alice. But along with these familiar favourites there are inspiring projects brewing and I am looking forward to revealing all the exciting news soon. Until then, Happy New Year and welcome 2015!

Off to NYC

We are already in full swing getting ready for our tour to NY with Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Very excited to be back dancing in the Big Apple again. Catch me as the Red Queen September 9th, 11th and 13th at the Koch Theater!!

What a Summer!

After a week off following our Toronto season I headed to LA to dance Juliet at the Music Center. It was so nice to be back in California and the audience was fantastic! Then it was back home and back to work getting ready to perform at the Festival des Arts de St. Sauveur in Quebec. I was so happy to be dancing my favourite roles: Giselle, Juliet and my beautiful solo, Being and Nothingness (Part 1), for 3 performances.
Not much holiday time this year but it turned out to be a busy and wonderful summer nonetheless.

Spring season’s on the way

After a very demanding and emotional March season, I was thrilled to welcome a week off. Now it’s back to rehearsals for the upcoming June performances of Jerome Robbins’ Opus 19/ The Dreamer and William Forsythe’s the second detail. What a pleasure to revisit these 2 extraordinary works and a perfect way to end the year.

Changes to Onegin Dates

There has been a change to my Onegin performances. I am now dancing with Guillaume Cote on March 21st at 7:30 and March 23rd at 2:00
